At A Glance

The d&b audiotechnik CCL12 is a compact cardioid line array loudspeaker designed for mobile use in small to medium-scale sound reinforcement. It features a 2-way passive design with a unique driver configuration—two 7" neodymium forward-facing LF drivers, two 5" side-firing LF drivers, and two 1.75" HF compression drivers on a wave shaping device—delivering powerful output with precise control. With a 120° horizontal dispersion and a maximum SPL of 136 dB, the CCL12 offers consistent coverage and exceptional clarity across its full bandwidth of 62 Hz to over 18 kHz. Its symmetrical layout ensures accurate, even sound distribution, while the cardioid design maintains directivity across the entire frequency range, minimizing unwanted rear energy. Lightweight at just 17.6 kg (38.8 lb) and housed in a rugged, weather-resistant ABS polycarbonate enclosure, the CCL12 is built for reliable performance on the road. When flown with the CCL flying frame, up to 24 cabinets can be deployed in vertical arrays with flexible splay angles, offering scalable solutions for a variety of live sound applications.
