Description
The PSM®900 Wireless Personal Monitor System from Shure offers an unprecedented combination of superb audio quality, robust RF performance, and category-leading features for the most demanding professional applications. Patent-pending CueMode allows the sound engineer to monitor different stage mixes with the touch of a button. Precision front-end RF filtering significantly reduces dropouts from RF interference, and the enhanced digital stereo encoder provides excellent stereo separation and audio clarity.
The P9R from Shure is a professional-quality wireless stereo bodypack receiver designed to be used as part of a PSM900 wireless personal monitoring system. The receiver has a slim and compact extruded aluminum construction for easy placement on a performer and lasting durability. The receiver has an enhanced digital stereo encoder to provide excellent audio clarity and detail. RF scan and automatic gain features provide excellent RF stability and channel availability, and prevent dropout due to RF overload. Output power is switchable from 10/50/100mW to provide a robust link in any environment.
The receiver syncs easily to a P9T transmitter over an IR link using the built-in Scan and Sync function. Volume and balance controls are provided for easy customization. A selectable high frequency EQ boost is also provided. A patent-pending CueMode allows you to monitor different stage mixes, as well as store up to 20 different channels on a single bodypack. The receiver also includes audio and RF status LEDs, as well as audio level and battery life metering. The P9R operates on a pair of standard AA batteries for 5-7 hours of continuous use. The P9R has a standard 3.5mm headphone jack and is compatible with all Shure SCL sound isolating earphones, which are designed specifically for use with PSM systems.
