It supports all four Apple ProRes 422 variants (including HQ, LT, and Proxy) as well as Avid DNxHD 220x, DNxHD 145, and DNxHD 36 for 1080p formats, giving editors native codecs for Final Cut Pro X or Media Composer workflows. Built-in AJA conversion technology enables broadcast-quality up, down, and cross-conversion during recording or playback without additional hardware. This unit ships complete with two AJA KI-STOR500-R0 500GB HDD storage modules, giving you two ready-to-swap media bays for rollover recording or immediate backup redundancy.
