AVID Digidesign DSO AES ADAT Output Card for VENUE Stage Box
Details
At A Glance
The AVID Digidesign DSO (Digital Stage Output) card adds eight channels of digital output to a VENUE Stage Rack, sending your mixes straight to digital amplifiers, processors, recorders, and broadcast trucks. All eight channels feed four two-channel AES/EBU XLR outputs and an ADAT optical port at the same time, so you get a built-in digital split with no extra hardware. Output runs at a fixed 48 kHz, 24-bit with no sample rate conversion, and the card mutes automatically during power cycling to protect downstream gear. You can install up to six DSO cards for 48 digital outputs, or combine them with SRO analog cards to tailor the rack’s outputs to the gig.
