The Barco 3G-SDI Input Card is a modular signal card for Barco's Event Master series processors (E2, S3, and EX), adding four SD/HD/3G-SDI inputs to the platform. It supports SDI Level A/B signaling per SMPTE 259M, 292M, 296M, 2048-2, 425-1, and 425-5, with automatic input acquisition so incoming signal formats are detected and configured without manual setup. Each card handles up to four 1080p60 sources or a single 4K@60p input via 4-quadrant or 2-Sample Interleave (2SI) formatting, giving operators flexibility between multiple HD feeds and a single UHD source. Color processing runs at 10-bit, 4:2:2 sampling with a 3 Gbps signal capacity. It's a standard building block for live event video systems where SDI camera feeds, switchers, or playback sources need to route directly into an Event Master canvas.
