The D SERIES Distributed Design DA6 is a high output fullrange architectural surface mount loudspeaker with an elegant form factor in the shape of a lighting sconce, providing high quality voice and music reproduction for retail environments, restaurants, resorts, hotel lobbies and other upscale applications. 

Each DA6 creates a cone-shaped coverage pattern 115° wide that emanates from the face of the loudspeaker pointing downwards at an angle of 26° from the wall. Uniform voicing means that the DA6 can be combined with other ceiling, surface mount and pendant loudspeakers from the Distributed Design family without compromising consistency from zone to zone. In particular, the D10SUB ceiling mount subwoofer and DS8SUB surface mount subwoofer are excellent complements to the DA6 when additional low frequency support is desired. The genuine coaxial design uses separate magnets for the LF and HF drivers for reduced distortion and high sensitivity.

Installation is simple and fast using the included flush-mount wall plate. A built-in autoformer allows the full loudspeaker output to be realized with 70V or 100V distribution lines via an installer-adjustable rear tap selector switch enabling selection between low impedance or 70V/100V operation.
