Your production company is getting larger. This also means your rooms are getting larger, and with more heads in them.
More space, more problems is how the saying goes, right?
When your production grows beyond basic communications, you need a system that can stay reliable under pressure, and keep every department perfectly in sync.
The Solidcom M1 8-beltpack system from Hollyland is built exactly for that, bridging the gap between compact wireless setups and full scale broadcast intercom solutions.

Key Features
Hollyland Solidcom M1 Full-Duplex Wireless Intercom
Full Duplex Real-Time Communication
No push-to-talk or delays. The Solidcom M1 enables simultaneous two-way communication, so your crew can operate naturally and respond instantly—critical for environments where quick communication is crucial.
Cues and conversation just flow naturally.
Built For Multiple Users
Out of the box, this system supports 8 beltpack users. That is going to accommodate a lot of your events.
But it doesn’t stop there.
With additional hardware, the Solidcom M1 can scale to accommodate larger teams, making it ideal for growing demands.
Long-Range, Stable Transmission
Operating on the 1.9 GHz band, the Solidcom M1 provides a reliable wireless connection with a range of up to approximately 1300 feet (400m) line-of-sight.
That’s just over four football fields, so 4x the size of most stadiums you’ll use these in.
Performance across large venues, outdoor events, and multi-zone productions will not be compromised.
Centralized Base Station Control
Unlike fully decentralized headset systems, the Solidcom M1 includes a base station that allows for:
Channel grouping
Role assignment
System monitoring
Remote configuration via app interface
This gives production managers and A1s the control they expect from higher-end comms systems. Add more base stations…and add more users.
KEY FEATURES
Beltpack Features
Each included belt pack features:
Professional headset connectivity (LEMO + 3.5mm)
Controls for volume and mute
Reliable battery operation for long production days
6 hours per battery, 2 come with each beltpack. Recharge in about 2.5 hours, so they're easy to rotate.
Need To Expand Your Crew?
No problem. The Solidcom M1 scales with you—add additional beltpacks with another base station and bring more users into the system in minutes.
Whether you're running a 8-person team or scaling up for a larger show, the M1 keeps your entire crew connected.
APPLICATIONS
Where It Excels
The Solidcom M1 hits a sweet spot between lightweight systems and full broadcast intercom rigs.
Live Event Production
Real-time, full-duplex comms keep cues tight and teams in sync across the entire venue—no delays, no missed calls.
Corporate AV & Conferences
Clean, organized communication between show caller, A1, and tech teams. Ideal for high-pressure, detail-driven environments.
Houses Of Worship
Simple, reliable comms for volunteer teams. Easy to deploy, easy to use, and no permanent setup required.
Broadcast & Streaming
Keeps directors, camera ops, and crew aligned with clear, instant communication without the complexity of a full matrix system.
Exhibitions & Large-Scale Activations
Wide coverage and mobility make it easy to coordinate teams across busy, multi-zone environments.
Keep In Mind
The Solidcom M1 is powerful, but like any system, it’s built with a specific use in mind. Here are a few things to consider before you deploy:
It’s not a full matrix intercom system
While the M1 offers grouping and centralized control, it doesn’t replace high-end matrix systems used in large broadcast situations. If you need complex IFB routing or multi-layered comms architecture, you’ll have to upgrade.
Range depends on environment
You can get impressive distance in ideal conditions, but like any wireless system, walls, RF congestion, and crowded venues will impact performance. Proper antenna placement will be key.
APPLICATIONS
FINAL THOUGHTS
The Solidcom M1 isn’t just a communication system—it’s production infrastructure.
It empowers teams to stay coordinated, efficient, and responsive, even in high-pressure environments.
For crews ready to level up their comms, the M1 delivers a powerful combination of clarity, control, and scalability all in a wireless form built for modern workflows.
If you’ve made it this far, we must be on the same wavelength…
Let’s talk gear.
